About Manon

Meet Manon Verhoeven

Manon Verhoeven was born and raised in the Netherlands. In 2017, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen. She worked in the Netherlands for one year, but in 2018 she decided to move to Sint Maarten after receiving a job opportunity.

While working in Sint Maarten, she treated patients in the clinic, the hospital, and in outpatient settings. During this time, she developed a strong interest in working with children, which led her to return to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue her master’s degree in Pediatric Physical Therapy at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. During and after her studies, she gained valuable experience in a pediatric physiotherapy practice, where she further developed her skills and passion for working with children.

Supporting children in their physical development and helping them reach their full potential is at the heart of her work. She enjoys creating a positive, engaging, and safe environment where adults, children, and their parents feel comfortable to move, learn, and grow.

Manon is particularly passionate about working with children, as she finds their openness, honesty, and vitality truly inspiring. Her empathetic nature drives her to fully understand each patient’s perspective. She builds strong connections with adults, children, and their parents, while maintaining the highest respect for every patient. She is highly motivated to continue developing her skills and to contribute meaningfully to the beautiful island of Sint Maarten, where she feels at home. She is eager to make a positive impact, build strong connections, and grow both personally and professionally.
