About Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is a specialized area of physical therapy for the management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, based on clinical reasoning, using highly specific treatment approaches including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises. A manual therapist observes the way a person moves and offer therapy to improve movement and specifically how you can take better care of your joints. Consequently, you will move with more flexibility and less pain. Manual therapy methods include joint mobilisations and manipulations (also known as adjustments). Manual Therapy falls in the same category of treatments as chiropractic therapy

Manual Therapy also encompasses, and is driven by, the available scientific and clinical evidence and the biopsychosocial framework of each individual patient.
